- Standard Life plc is now in the top 10% of sustainable businesses in the world, The latest Dow Jones Sustainability Index rankings show the great progress we're making to improve and reduce the impacts we have on our environment.

- Our sponsorship project with The Village Storytelling Centre and Princess Royal Trust for Carers has been shortlisted in the Community category of the 2011 Arts & Business Awards.

- The results of InterAction, our new employee engagement survey show that 86% of our staff responded to the survey.

- Standard Life Charitable Trust announced details on 17 May 2011 of its first donations to three UK charities.
April 2011
- We launched InterAction, our new approach to monitoring and measuring employee engagement within Standard Life.
- Standard Life launched its first sustainability report for 2010, our sixth report on our corporate responsibility.
- Standard Life launched its Sustainable Business Strategy across the business
March 2011
- Standard Life is confirmed as being included in the FTSE4Good sustainability index. This is the fourth consecutive year of inclusion in the index since Standard Life demutualised and was listed on the London Stock Exchange.
February 2011
- Standard Life is awarded a Silver Class distinction by Sustainable Asset Management for scoring within 10% of the Sector Leader in the 2010 Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Insurance Sector.
