FSA Remuneration Code Disclosures

The following disclosures are in accordance with the FSA’s Handbook for banks, building societies and investment firms (“BIPRU”), section 11.5.18 (1) to (7). You can find details of the Group remuneration policy in the Directors’ remuneration report in our 2010 Annual Report and Accounts. The Capital Requirements Directive Pillar 3 Disclosure statements can be found in our financial reports sections.

The figures on this page are for remuneration earned in the 2010 performance year. This would have been paid during that year or, for bonuses, in March 2011. An amount equivalent to 50% of the maximum value at the time of award from the 2010 Group and Standard Life Investments’ Long Term Incentive Plan is also included in line with the principles of the Code.

During 2010 fixed remuneration to the above Code Staff was as follows. Please note, this includes base salary as at 31 December 2010, benefits and contributions to pension plans. For those in defined benefit arrangements this is based on contribution by the employer during the year.
